GPSTC Regional Police Academy (Augusta)

The GPSTC Regional Police Academy - Augusta conducts a 408-hr. Basic Law Enforcement Training Course, Basic Jailor Training on and off campus, various Advanced and Specialized Training Courses also conducted on and off campus, and In-Service Training. Our regional counties include: Wilkes County, Lincoln County, Taliaferro County, Warren County, McDuffie County, Columbia County, Glascock County, Richmond County, Jefferson County, Burke County, Emanuel County, Jenkins County, and Screven County

EGPA Advanced / Specialized Courses

* All dates and training topics are subject to change.

The Entrance Exam is offered the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month.  Applicants MUST bring the proper Entrance Exam Access Form.  Picture I.D. or Drivers License with sealed I.D. photo, two #2 pencils and arrive at the Academy at 8:30 AM to in-process.  Examination starts at 9:00 AM.
